The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure/tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Genetics with a research focus on the roles of DNA repetitive (tandem and interspersed repeats) sequence elements in neurological and neuromuscular disease. The Department has begun a major expansion of the faculty as part of a 5-year strategic plan. The Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) at the University of Florida is seeking a research-practitioner with experience in collegiate mental health who thrives in an environment that values collaboration and support among team members and will serve as CWC’s Assistant Director for Research & Assessment/Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor. The Assistant Director for Research & Assessment is responsible for the management of research, assessment, data collection, data analysis, report writing, and data dissemination/publication activities of the CWC.
In addition to these specific administrative duties, the job duties include:
Carrying a modest caseload including individual, couples and group counseling.
Crisis intervention, campus consultation, outreach programs, clinical supervision.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

An ACVS fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) is offered annually and is supported by two ACVS fellows. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help train our fellow candidates as well as participate in an ACVS MIS fellowship themselves if desired. Responsibilities will include didactic teaching and clinical training of professional students, graduate students & residents and participation in service activities of the Small Animal Surgery Service in the UF Small Animal Hospital. This facility offers advanced diagnostics such as digital radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI. The small animal hospital is a state-of-the-art facility with 12 operating rooms offering full complement of equipment and procedures such as Karl Storz laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgery, near-infrared imaging fluorescence capabilities, vessel sealing devices (Ligasure and Harmonic scalpel), a Neuwave microwave ablation unit, laser and a state-of-the-art Catheter lab including a Phillips Azurion 7, ceiling mounted C-arm with 185-degree RAO and 120-degree LAO image acquisition. Perform general construction tasks such as: remove/install floor and wall tile, repair grout; remove, replace, and/or repair doors and hardware; remove, replace, and/or repair cabinetry; remove, replace, and/or repair windows, window screens, glass, and window blinds; remove, replace, and/or repair gypsum based wall board and finishes; remove, replace, and/or repair ceiling tile and grid; removal and installation of floor covering and finishes: stretch in carpet, glue down carpet, LVT (luxury vinyl tile), VCT (vinyl composite tile, and hard tile (ceramic and porcelain); Demolition of walls, ceilings, gypsum materials, floor finishes, etc. as directed
Operate, maintain, repair tools such as pipe cutter, reamer, threader, torch, sewer snake, chipping/rotary hammer, closet auger, drill, sawzall, skill saw, and multi meter
Responsible for general administrative functions
Input and process work order requests utilizing web-based work order management system.
Record detailed descriptions of work performed and notate preventative maintenance information
Assist in maintaining inventory of materials, supplies, tools and/or equipment throughout area of responsibility; ensure organized workstations and storage closets with necessary materials as directed
Perform general cleaning duties after the completion of maintenance tasks within buildings or properties.
Perform other duties as assigned, including special tasks or projects

Minimum Requirements:
Completion of an approved apprenticeship program in plumbing; or a high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience; appropriate vocational/ technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience

The Statistician applies rigorous statistical methodologies to design, analyze, and interpret clinical research studies. The role supports investigators in planning trials, monitoring data integrity, and creating reports that meet regulatory standards. The role blends technical expertise with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security.
Responsibilities include:
Design study protocols, randomization schemes, sample size calculations, and interim analysis plans.
Develop and validate statistical analysis plans (SAPs) that align with regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) and internal standards.
Conduct statistical analyses on clinical trial data, ensuring accuracy, reproducibility, and compliance with pre‑specified methods.
Collaborate with biostatisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to address data‑quality issues and troubleshoot analyses.
