    Job Description:

    The Academic & Faculty Affairs Support Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and programmatic support for faculty affairs, academic operations, clinical education, and instructional programs within the College of Nursing. This position serves as a central point of coordination among faculty, academic leadership, students, clinical partners, and university stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of academic programs, seamless clinical placement processes, and compliance with college, university, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

    The coordinator supports a broad range of academic and faculty-related functions, including faculty workload administration, course and instructional scheduling, clinical education coordination, faculty appointment and evaluation processes, recognition and promotion activities, accreditation support, and data management. The role also contributes to continuous quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence that advance the College's educational, clinical, and strategic mission.

    Faculty Scheduling, Workload & Instructional Support

    - Coordinate faculty teaching assignments, instructional schedules, and workload activities across didactic, simulation, laboratory, online, and clinical learning environments.
    - Support instructional planning, course staffing, workload reporting, and coverage strategies to ensure effective course delivery and efficient resource utilization.
    - Maintain faculty workload systems, instructional records, and related reporting while serving as a resource for faculty and leadership on scheduling and instructional operations.
    - Assist with instructional continuity planning, course readiness activities, and communication of teaching-related schedules, deadlines, and updates.

    Academic Operations, Course Coordination & Accreditation Support

    - Coordinate academic operational activities including course scheduling, academic calendars, examinations, instructional logistics, and curriculum-related initiatives.
    - Collaborate with faculty, program leadership, simulation teams, clinical partners, and academic support units to ensure effective course delivery and operational efficiency.
    - Support accreditation, assessment, regulatory compliance, and program review activities through coordination of documentation, data collection, and reporting.
    - Assist with implementation of new academic initiatives, process improvements, and operational projects that support student success and program effectiveness.

    Faculty Affairs & Evaluation & Recognition Support
    - Coordinate faculty evaluation, Faculty Evaluation and Advancement (FEA), promotion, recognition, and awards processes, ensuring timely completion of required documentation and submissions.
    - Support faculty affairs initiatives in collaboration with academic leadership and university partners.
    - Maintain faculty records, submission calendars, and tracking systems to support compliance, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
    - Serve as a liaison among faculty, departments, and administrative offices to facilitate faculty-related processes and communications.

    Clinical Placement & Academic Partnership Coordination
    - Coordinate student clinical placement activities, including assignment processes, scheduling, tracking, and compliance requirements across academic programs.
    - Serve as a liaison with healthcare systems, clinical agencies, preceptors, and internal stakeholders to support successful clinical education experiences.
    - Maintain clinical placement records, data systems, and reports while monitoring placement capacity and supporting strategic clinical partnership development.
    - Assist with affiliation agreement coordination, agency communications, and operational activities related to clinical education.

    Expected Salary:

    $53,000-$63,000

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred:

    Master’s degree in related field.
    Demonstrated experience supporting faculty scheduling, instructional coordination, or academic operations
    Familiarity with faculty affairs processes, instructional appointments, or academic workforce management
    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
    Experience with faculty workload tracking, effort reporting, or academic labor allocation in accordance with institutional or accreditation requirements.
    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships
