| Job Description: |
The University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time clinical-track position in Soft Tissue Surgery (Small Animal) at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position provides opportunities to participate in clinical and bench-top research, as well as teaching and clinical service. The candidate will be expected to participate in professional lecture and laboratory courses as well as help mentor Residents and Graduate students in our combined 4-year residency program. Development of the candidate’s area of clinical investigation and publication is encouraged. The working environment is supportive and cordial with established mentorship for new faculty. |

| Required Qualifications: |
Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree, completed or are on schedule to complete a residency in small animal surgery and should have experience and strong skills in soft tissue surgery. |
