    Classification Minimum Requirements:

    Bachelor in Statistics or Health Sciences with 1 year research experience.

    Job Description:

    The Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy department is seeking an OPS Research Assistant with quantitative research methods expertise with scientific writing and interpretation of results skills.

    Duties include:

    • Independently conducts a wide array of standard laboratory techniques and procedures. Demonstrates some ability to use judgement when necessary to adapt standard methods and techniques.
    • Assists researchers in a variety of scientific fields by performing tests, processing samples, collecting data, setting up and operating equipment, and maintaining laboratory stock.
    • May provide interpretation and initial analysis of results.
    • Limited ability to troubleshoot and modify procedures.
    • May assist in designing experiments to complete a segment of overall research plan.
    Expected Salary:

    $16/hour

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor in Statistics or Health Sciences with 1 year research experience.

    Preferred:

    Masters in Statistics or Epidemiology.
