    Job Description:
    The Clinical Case Manager described herein function as a member of a
    multidisciplinary team (headquartered in Lecanto, Florida) organized to provide and coordinate services for victims of child abuse and neglect and their families. This position will travel to outlying counties to provide CPT services in rural communities.
    • Interviews children, family members, and significant others (as needed) to obtain medical and psychosocial information.
    • Follows child through the process of intake, interview, medical exams, and follow up.
    • Present with medical personnel for clinic and hospital visits.
    • Arranges and conducts team staffing and participates in the development of recommendations.
    • Hosts, organizes, leads, and summarize staffings.
    • Coordinates client services and referrals to community agencies.
    • Completes assessments and sends reports to the protective investigators within the timeframes consistent with the program requirements and best practice.
    • Maintains client records consistent with program requirements.
    • All division performance measures set by the Assistant Director and must be met.
    • Participates in “on-call” rotation including nights, weekends and holidays.
    • Provide direct services and completes intakes and case notes during on-call.
    • All designated paperwork and other requirements are completed during the on-call shift.
    • Travels to 12-county catchment area to attend court proceedings, conduct trainings for community partners, and provide CPT services as assigned by Team Coordinator. {Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.}
    Expected Salary:

    $55,000 - $58,000

    Required Qualifications:

    Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

    Preferred Qualifications
    BA or MA degree of Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or another behavioral science.
    EDUCATION & TRAINING
    - BA or MA degree of psychology, social work, nursing, or another behavioral science
    - Completion/certification in APSAC Forensic Interviewing training within one (1) year of employment
    (required)
    -Completion of VOCA Victim Advocate designation training within one (1) year of employment
    EXPERIENCE
    - At least two (2) years of experience working with children and families (required) with one (1) year of
    that experience involving work with abused and neglected children
    KNOWLEDGE
    -Familiar with the Florida Child Welfare system
    SKILLS
    - Must use critical thinking to prioritize daily task and duties to ensure the needs of community partners
    and families in crisis are met.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    - Must have be able to navigate multiple job specific databases
    - Must possess college-level writing skills
    - Must be able to multi-task
    ABILITIES
    - Ability to perform under stress when confronted with emergency, critical, or unusual situations (required)
    - Ability to deal with periodic pressures and levels of responsibility (required)
    - Ability to make independent judgments without supervision (required)
    - Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, or decisions based on sensory or judgmental criteria
    (required)
    - Ability to work with people beyond giving and receiving instructions (required)
    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
    - Adaptability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
    without loss of efficiency or composure (required)
    -Must type 35 CWM
    -Must pass PC skills test
    - Twenty (20) hours continuing education is required per year during employment in this job.
