The Career Services Coordinator at the Levin College of Law serves as the primary office support for the administrative functions of the office which include recruiting programs, database management and career related programming. This position will support the organization, implementation, and administration of the on-campus and off-campus student job recruitment activities of the College’s Office of Career and Professional Development. The goal of these activities will be to connect students with legal jobs over the summer and full-time legal jobs after graduation. The Career Services Coordinator must possess a high degree of self-direction and organizational skills due to the complexity of activities, the volume of work, and the fast-paced environment. Of critical importance is the ability to work positively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff, as well as with legal employers. The Career Services Coordinator will work with recruiting coordinators for legal employers, attorneys and other legal professionals, faculty and administrators, over 1000 students, and many alumni. The long-term relationships that are cultivated out of these interactions strengthen the entire law school community. The Career Services Coordinator must demonstrate superior judgment and act with considerable intelligence and diplomacy at all times. The Coordinator must also possess excellent data and technical skills and be self-directed in learning how to maximize the use of employment databases and other systems. $50,000-$60,000 |
