This position is based at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in Gainesville and supports the Master of Studies in Law (MSL) program. The Academic Program Specialist II provides coordination and administrative support for program operations, including student services, recruitment, admissions processes, and enrollment activities. Working in close collaboration with the Assistant Dean for Online and Graduate Programs and Students, this role applies independent judgment and discretion to coordinate, implement, and support program initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and student success. Program Operations and Student Services Leadership Provide coordination and day-to-day support for operational processes related to student services for the MSL program. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of workflows, procedures, and support systems to ensure efficient program operations. Serve as a primary point of contact for student services inquiries, responding to routine and non-routine issues and escalating concerns as needed. Support the use and maintenance of systems and tools related to admissions, student services, and program operations. Assist in monitoring operational processes and identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance student experience. Strategic Recruitment and Outreach Management Support the implementation of recruitment and outreach activities that contribute to enrollment goals for the MSL program. Coordinate logistics for recruitment events, information sessions, and outreach initiatives, including communication with prospective students. Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students, providing information about program offerings, admissions requirements, and student resources. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to support recruitment efforts and assist in tracking participation and engagement outcomes. Admissions and Enrollment Operations Management Coordinate admissions processes for the MSL program, including application review support, applicant communications, and record processing. Provide guidance to prospective students regarding application procedures, requirements, and timelines. Assist in reviewing applications and ensuring completeness and compliance with established guidelines, escalating complex cases when appropriate. Support the maintenance of admissions records and systems to ensure accuracy and consistency across program locations. Data Analysis, Reporting and Strategic Planning Collect, compile, and maintain data related to admissions, enrollment, and student services. Assist in preparing reports to support program evaluation and decision-making. Conduct basic analysis of program data to identify trends and support recommendations for program improvements. Provide support for program planning activities by contributing data insights and assisting with documentation and reporting needs. |

$53,000 - $86,000 |
| Required Qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience |
| Preferred: |
Master's degree in education or counseling with five plus years in higher education admissions and student services. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and meeting materials. Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to anticipate needs and develop proactive solutions. |
