    Job Description:

    The Digital Worlds Institute (DWI) in the College of the Arts seeks a Student Project Assistant to support a workforce training and certificate program serving neurodivergent students. The student assistant will play a key role in coordinating administrative and logistical activities related to participant travel, event planning, and program operations. This position is ideal for a student with strong organizational and communication skills who enjoys working with people and managing logistics. The assistant will serve as one of the primary points of contact for program participants and their families during visits to the University of Florida.

    • Coordinate travel arrangements for program participants, including hotel reservations, flights, ground transportation, and travel schedules.
    • Coordinate event logistics, including room reservations, parking permits, catering requests, and event scheduling.
    • Work with UF administrative offices and campus partners to arrange accommodation and event support services.
    • Assist with maintaining and updating course materials, announcements, assignments, and participant communications in Canvas.
    • Support participant onboarding and provide basic assistance with Canvas access and navigation when needed.
    • Maintain organized records and provide logistical support for workshops, training sessions, and special events.
    • Support other administrative and project coordination activities as assigned
    Expected Salary:

    $15-$20 an hour

    Required Qualifications:
    • Eligibility for Federal work Study
    • Prior experience assisting with events or student programs at the University of Florida.
    • Experience working with the College of Engineering or university administrative offices.
    • Experience using UF GO, Canvas, and other UF administrative platforms is strongly preferred.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
