| Job Description: |
The University of Florida is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Critical Care Med./Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology of the UF College of Medicine hospital and facilities within Gainesville, Florida, with duties and responsibilities comprised of direct patient care and clinical teaching/training of medical students, residents, and fellows. This involves managing/performing adult cardiopulmonary bypass clinical cases, assisting with adult heart transplants, working closely with newly hired thoracic/transplant surgeons, and actively participating in mechanical circulatory support (“MCS”), and extracorporeal life support (“ECLS”) programs, as well as enriching the institution's strong fellowship program. |
