    Job Duties:

    Conduct inspections and repairs for indoor facility fixtures, furniture, accessories, tools, and exercise/sports equipment; develop and administer a daily, weekly, and quarterly maintenance schedule; work with UF Facility Services, and outside contractors or suppliers when necessary.

    Document maintenance and repairs; maintain records pertaining to current inventory and new equipment purchases; assist with asset management; schedule delivery and installation of new parts and equipment; assist with developing the budget for exercise equipment parts, outside services, and general repairs.

    Perform preventative maintenance tasks and general cleaning duties to maintain facilities and equipment; oversee the disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with EH&S guidelines.

    Provide feedback to supervisor regarding the safety and/or condition of programs, equipment and facilities; conduct daily observations and/or use said equipment and facilities; immediately document and address all safety concerns; and operate a state vehicle as needed.

    Expected Salary:

    $20.11 - $21.55 per hour

    Required Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience; appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

    A valid driver's license is required.

    Preferred:

    Electrical and mechanical experience preferred; experience with electronics and digital software preferred; ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to effectively supervise; and is self-motivated, adaptable, a great team player and customer focused.
