Classification Title:	Access & Resource Sharing Student Assistant
Classification Minimum Requirements:	Be a current University of Florida student in good standing and majoring in a related field. Able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week, with 20 hours maximum.
Job Description:	A Student Assistant is needed to be part of the Course Reserves Unit within the Access and Resource Sharing Department at the University of Florida Libraries. The Course Reserves Unit processes requests from faculty for books and articles with other libraries. Responsible for locating and retrieving books and scanning book chapters. We are looking for an enthusiastic student to help with our increased volume in Fall 2026.
Expected Salary:	$14.00 /hr
Required Qualifications:	Must be detailed oriented and follow directions Strong organizational skills Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro Knowledge of pdf remediation Basic computer skills. Once trained, will be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Preferred:	Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Ability to work two hours per day, Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. Flexible schedule. 10 hours per week FWS preferred.
