| Job Description: |
The Health Educator supports the Tobacco Program within the Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program by providing evidence-based smoking cessation interventions (including counseling and support) to tobacco-dependent individuals based on their tobacco use history and current tobacco status. The position will work at the UF AHEC Office at UF’s East Campus on Waldo Road and report directly to the Assistant Director of Education and Training Programs. The work of this position is funded by Tobacco Settlement Dollars from the Florida Department of Health, which specifies that supported employees must not be tobacco users. About this Role

$49,000 - $52,000 annually; commensurate with education and experience. |
