The Department of Recreational Sports is currently looking for Waterfront Lifeguards to join our energetic team and move Gators toward lifelong wellbeing! Lifeguards will be tasked with overseeing all water-based activities and ensuring the safety of our members and guests. Duties at Lake Wauburg include monitoring boaters on the lake, operating a motorized rescue boat, and working equipment rental at the boathouse. RecSports Team Member Responsibilities
RecSports Fall Kick-Off 2026: Tuesday, August 18
Unit Specific Job Responsibilities Lake Wauburg Lifeguards work at North Shore and shifts are 6.5 - 8.5 hours long. Responsibilities include swim area watch, rescue boat operation, and equipment check-out. You must have reliable transportation to apply.

Requirements/Qualifications
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week. *Federal Work Study students are encouraged to apply! |
