Job Description:	The Department of Pathology, Immunology, and Laboratory Medicine's Molecular Pathology Core (MPC) is recruiting for a part-time, OPS Lab Assistant. The regular hours of work are from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Duties include: Customer service Receiving and releasing submissions for services Printing and labeling cassettes Sample processing and embedding H&E staining Slide labeling Archiving Maintenance and cleaning Other tasks as assigned
Expected Salary:	$15.00 - $18.00 based on experience
Required Qualifications:	High School Diploma or equivalent. Computer skills for WORD, EXCEL, and/or ACCESS are needed. Training can be provided. Must have excellent communication skills and be dependable and organized.
Preferred:	Previous experience working in a lab
