    Job Description:

    0.5 FTE role fixed term to December 2026 providing high-quality admin support for teaching programmes & postgraduate processes.

    Mō te tūka | The role

    This role is based in our Agribusiness and Commerce Faculty team, supporting academic staff and postgraduate programmes to run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality administrative services, maintaining online learning resources, and enhancing the postgraduate student experience.

    Some tasks of the role include:

    • Coordinating postgraduate applications, records, and reporting
    • Supporting Moodle content and online learning resources
    • Organising postgraduate meetings, timetables, and room bookings
    • Managing travel bookings and administrative logistics
    • Producing professional documents and maintaining Faculty webpages
    • Providing responsive front-line administration and customer support

    Working closely with academic staff and the Postgraduate Coordinator, you’ll ensure systems, processes, and communication are accurate, timely, and student focused.

    Mahi & Wāhi / Utu | Work pattern, location & salary

    This fixed-term role ends December 2026 and is based at our Lincoln Campus working 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE). While the position is primarily on‑campus, some work‑from‑home flexibility may be available depending on the role’s requirements.

    The salary for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 per annum (pro rata to 0.5 FTE), depending on experience.

    To be successful in the role you will have

    • Relevant qualification (Level 4) or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with digital systems (Moodle desirable)
    • Proven administrative and customer service experience in a diverse environment
    • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building effective relationships
    • A proactive, flexible approach with high attention to detail and confidentiality
