Position Function:
The CVM Dean’s Office is seeking a dependable Intermittent worker to assist with outreach initiatives, college events, and daily office operations throughout the summer.
Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year.
Salary Grade: UC
Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supporting event setup, assisting with communications and outreach efforts, welcoming visitors, organizing materials, and providing general administrative support to the office staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma; Strong communication and organizational skills; Ability to work professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors; Basic computer skills and attention to detail
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent telephone and email communication skills, especially related to client service.
Must be capable of working in a team environment comprised of doctors, staff, and students to provide veterinary care of patients and aid in the instruction of veterinary students and veterinary technology students.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Job frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands. Job requires standing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
