    Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

    This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

    Expectations and Eligibility

    Professors Hatem Rouached and Federica Brandizzi invite applications from high school teachers interested in participating in the SURE-PLANT training program. This paid internship offers teachers the opportunity to engage in a faculty-guided research project and hands-on demonstrations for one month.

    Participants will work 20 hours per week (four hours per day) for up to four weeks and receive a stipend of $2,500. The start and end dates of the internship are flexible to accommodate the needs of both the participating teachers and the Extension professionals. However, most internships will be limited to 4 weeks, on June-August, 2026.
