Job Description: |
Assist a dentist, dental resident, or dental student in the treatment of patients as outlined in the State of Florida Dental laws. Assist with dental operatory set-up; assist at chairside providing dental support services. Mix cements, pour models, and prepare bite guards. Work with faculty and staff to insure the delivery of aseptic dental care to patients. Expose, develop, and mount x-rays. Instruct patients in oral hygiene. Package and sterilize clinical supplies and instruments. Assist in organizing and controlling the use of clinical supplies. Maintain and clean office and reception areas. Perform other clerical duties as assigned. |
Expected Salary: |
$18.00 - $19.00/hr, commensurate with education/experience Benefits:

Minimum Requirements: |
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) Certification demonstrating the successful completion of training as specified in Chapter 64B5-16, Florida Administrative Code. |
