The Finance and Operations Data Management Analyst at the University of Florida's College of Medicine is pivotal in enhancing the institution's strategic and operational effectiveness through expert data management and analysis. Key functions include maintaining the EPM applications, SQL databases, and creating analytic reports and dashboards in a variety of applications such as OneStream, Excel, and Power BI. This position also plays a crucial role in advising leadership on strategic directions based on data-driven evidence, thereby directly contributing to the College's decision-making and strategic planning efforts. Through collaboration and leadership, this position ensures that initiatives are aligned with the College's goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making.

About This Role

• Evaluate and improve data collection and management processes across multiple platforms and departments to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Implement best practices in data management and analysis, including automation of repetitive data processing tasks to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with IT and administrative staff to enhance the data infrastructure, supporting advanced analytics and the integration of new data sources.

Reporting and Visualization

• Serve as a data advisor to college finance and operations leadership, offering insights and recommendations on policy, strategic direction, and operational improvements based on comprehensive data analysis.
• Present data findings and strategic recommendations, ensuring data is translated into actionable insights.

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.
