The University of Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM), actively seeks a motivated and experienced individual to join us as the Assistant Director of Health Care and Academic Administration. As a leader, the Assistant Director will drive strategic initiatives, supervise administrative staff, and support faculty development to advance undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education (UME, GME, CME). This position demands exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills to create an environment fostering collaboration, positive office morale, and operational efficiency. The UF Department of Emergency Medicine proudly maintains an affiliation with UF Health Shands Hospital, a distinguished 1,162-bed teaching facility renowned for its Level 1 trauma center and cutting-edge burn center. As the primary referral center for North Central Florida, our institution stands as a beacon of excellence in healthcare. Expected Salary: |
The annual salary ranges between $95,000 - $110,000 and is commensurate with education and experience. Minimum Requirements: |
Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience. |
