Job Description: |
The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking a dedicated part-time Research Interventionist Nurse to join our team for a large behavioral clinical trial focused on chronic pain management. The successful candidate will work directly with older adult participants to screen, schedule, and deliver an IRB-approved pain self-management intervention. Responsibilities also include accurate data collection and entry into data management systems Key Responsibilities:
Assist with overseeing workflow of intervention operations at GNV and JAX sites:
Support community outreach and activities:
Follow an IRB-approved protocol and train new research assistants:
Assist with activities related to the publication of findings and preparation of presentations. |

Preferred Qualifications: |
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Diploma in nursing (LPN) or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Active and unencumbered LPN or RN license in FL - *Specialty as Faith Community Nurse or Community Health Nurse preferred EXPERIENCE: Experience as a nurse in research, clinical trials, and/or academic medical settings. A customer-service orientation and/or experience working with older adults and health disparities populations. Clinical trials management. OTHER: Criminal background check required |
