JOB DESCRIPTION: |
Become a NORC summer intern and gain exposure and experience in research and data analysis. NORC's 2025 Summer Internship program is a full-time, paid position available to current rising seniors, undergraduate students who will have graduated by the time the internship begins in June 2025, and graduate students with interests in the social sciences, survey research, data analysis, and research methods. We will be conducting the 2025 internship virtually. Spend nine weeks collaborating with industry experts to uncover insights that inform public policy decisions. Projects focus on a myriad of topics which may include public health, education, health care, or economics. Explore recent innovations in data collection techniques, survey platforms, analytic approaches, and public outreach. In addition, you will have formal and informal opportunities to learn from and collaborate with NORC staff over the nine-week internship. This is a fulltime internship (40 hours per week) for a period of 9 weeks during the summer. • Timing: The 2025 summer internship will begin Monday, June 9th and conclude on Friday, August 8th. Deadline: Applications will be accepted through Friday, January 3rd at 5:00 p.m. CT for the 2025 Summer Internship program.
