Job Description:

The Intermediate level ERP Analyst serves as a point of contact for business customers and Business Relationship Managers to provide day-to-day support for the University’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and related systems. Applications, Development and Integrations (ADI) a unit within UFIT is looking for a skilled team member who enjoys using their analytical and creative talents to produce business solutions which address the needs of, and create efficiencies for, core business offices at UF. The successful applicant possesses application and functional expertise in the content, processes, and procedures for the business unit(s) and the business processes they support.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this positions are:

  • Administers the functional side of an ERP systems to include Human Capital Management, Payroll, Finance and Sponsored Research with focus on functional areas such as Employee Data, Payroll Processing, Time Tracking, Compensation and Benefits, Commitment Accounting, General Ledger, Commitment Control, Banking and Cash Management, Procurement, Payables, Expenses, Grants, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Receivable and related functions providing system support and analysis to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Provides application support in a 24/7 environment.
  • Participates in Change Management and the full software development life-cycle.
  • Analyzes workflow, process improvement, and business practices to streamline business system operations crafting short and long-term business solutions for complex system problems.
  • Analyses impact of enhancements, upgrades and other system changes.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for requirements gathering, business processes, procedures and configuration.
  • Defines and creates test plans, test scripts and test procedures based upon Quality Assurance requirements, policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to work independently, keep current with notable trends in software development, and have a history of producing high-quality work.

Benefits

Full-time TEAMS employees will accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.

Vacation-accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days/32 hours per year, assuming full-time status, and are intended to give the flexibility to enable units to close from December 26 to 31, when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis.

Expected Salary:

$65,000 – $99,000; commensurate based on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Associates degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Workday Human Capital Management – Employee Data, Payroll Processing, Time & Labor, Compensation and Benefits, Workforce Administration, Commitment Accounting
  • Workday Financial Management – General Ledger, Accounts Payable and receivable, Asset Management, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, Spend Procurement, Payables, Expenses, Grants Management, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Receivable
  • Core Application Systems – the ability to work within an ERP and related systems to evaluate, explain, enhance and implement features
  • Workflow Analysis - the ability to manage IT work activities, processes and project operations
  • Analytical Thinking – knowledge of techniques and tools to promote effective analysis to determine root cause and create alternative solutions to resolve the problems.
  • Business Analysis - experience with facilitating groups in defining business requirements and functional specifications
  • Quality Assurance - familiarity with incident, change request, and release management

This role will be based in one of our Gainesville offices and may include a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office (Wednesday required), and 2 days remote.
