UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated, part-time Collaboration Platforms System Administrator Intern to join Infrastructure & Communication Technology (ICT), a unit within UFIT for the spring/summer/ fall semesters. This paid internship is designed to provide students currently enrolled in college an opportunity to learn practical skills and gain experience to propel them into a successful career in Information Technology. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other dedicated employees focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community. This position is part of the ICT Collaboration Platforms Services team, which is responsible for administering a hybrid cloud/on-premises environment delivering Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams), Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Intune, Dropbox, Google Workspace for Education, and Listserv to the UF community. The incumbent will work collaboratively with a team of administrators on the delivery of these services and provide excellent customer service to the UF community. The position will participate in medium-to-large projects affecting the entire UF community. Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
