| Job Description: |
The selected candidate will assist in planning, developing, constructing, and teaching vegetable gardens in St. Lucie County. These gardens include schools, places of worship, community, and other establishments. This is in support of a Sponsored Project (grant) for the Demonstration of New Vegetable Production Techniques for Urban Horticulture. |
| Expected Salary: | $20 per hour |
| Minimum Requirements: | Ability to organize youth groups, establish programs, and conduct educational vegetable garden classes. Ability to deal effectively with the public, co-workers, and other community organizations. Ability to speak publicly to various audiences. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, social media, etc. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. |
