Monitor Parking Facilities
Special Events Assistance
Normal work schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30 pm. Flexibility to adjust work schedule is required to meet department needs of flex scheduling for fill-in and special events as needed. Drives a state vehicle that requires a valid driver license. |
Expected Salary: |
Starting salary $15.00 - $17.00 hourly based on experience. |
Minimum Requirements: |
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience and possession of a classified driver's license appropriate to the type of vehicle operated. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
• Working knowledge of traffic and parking laws and University parking rules and regulations • Working knowledge of radio codes and procedures • Working knowledge of procedures and equipment used in impounding/towing illegally parked vehicles • Working knowledge in basic math and calculations • Effective interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally including via radio, telephone, or other means as needed • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment |
