Position Function:

Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor in Psychology at Mississippi State University on the Meridian Campus. The Division of Education invites applicants for a non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in the Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology degree programs in Combined Health Service Psychology, with concentrations in clinical, counseling, and school psychology, beginning spring 2025. This position encourages continued practice in the field in conjunction with teaching and mentoring graduate students.

Salary Grade: UC

For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities will include graduate teaching and advisement; supervision of field experience; clinical work as a psychologist; and service and outreach to the local community and state.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate in Psychology or a closely related field; eligibility for MS licensure as a psychologist; demonstration of excellence in teaching, and /or service (Associate Teaching Professor) or demonstration of potential for excellence in these areas (Assistant Teaching Professor). Level of appointment is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Emphasis as a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist
