| Job Description: | Serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Anesthesiology at the UF College of Medicine (“COM”), with duties and responsibilities comprised of patient care, clinical teaching and research, as well as service to the profession. Clinical duties include providing direct patient care at UF Health clinics and facilities and developing alternative pain relief strategies for surgical patients, which includes using advanced pain-blocking techniques (e.g., perineural sheath catheters) to reduce opioid use and potential dependence among UF Health patients. Clinical teaching duties involve mentoring and teaching medical students, residents, and/or fellows at the UF COM. |
| Minimum Requirements: |
Position requires a Doctor of Medicine (“M.D.”) degree (or equivalent), BC/BE in Anesthesiology, and a FL Medical License. |
