The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing-track instructor position in Management Information Systems. The beginning date for the position is August 2025.

Candidates must possess a Masters’ or Ph.D. degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to develop an innovative, cutting-edge instructional program. Candidates will be expected to teach courses in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, including programming, database design, statistics, and data analytics. Teaching load is typically a maximum of eight courses per year with potential reductions for service. This is a permanent position, renewable with increasing contract renewal lengths (starting at two years and moving up to five-year renewals).

The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems is housed within Lerner College and offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and in management information systems and several joint degrees, partnering with both the College of Engineering and the College's MBA programs.
