OPS Seasonal Visitor Service Representative

OPS HOURLY NON-SECRETARY/CLERICAL

The Florida Museum of Natural History is seeking a part-time OPS Seasonal Visitor Service Representative. Visitor Service Representatives greet and direct visitors, assist them in our Museum Store, answer our multi-line phone system, and sell tickets for exhibitions. A successful applicant has a positive attitude, the ability to function as a knowledgeable ambassador of our institution and the desire to foster a positive and welcoming environment to all. Ability to multi-task, handle a fast pace professional working environment and communicate effectively are essential, experience with POS systems, cash handling, and customer service industry preferred.

1 Seasonal Part-time, 15-20 hours per week, shifts are Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm and Sunday 12:00pm-5:30pm, additional availability during university break periods Nov. 23- Dec. 1 and Dec. 15- Jan. 5 is required; The museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

This is a time-limited position through Jan 5, 2025

$15.00 per hour

Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and customer service industry preferred.
