The Florida Museum of Natural History at the University of Florida is seeking an experienced professional to lead its multi-million-dollar grants acquisition and management program. As the largest and leading natural history museum on a public university campus in the US, with over 30 faculty members in addition to postdocs and graduate students, external funding is a crucial driver of the research enterprise, and the research administrator plays an important role in the museum’s success. As a Research Administrator II, the incumbent will be responsible for a wide range of tasks spanning the entire lifecycle of research projects, Grant Preparation/Submission: Grant Opportunity Management: Grant Management: Principal Investigator (PI) Training: Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm |
Expected Salary: | Salary range $62,000.00 - $75,000.00, commensurate with education and experience. |
Minimum Requirements: |
Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in grant and contract administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
