The Opportunity: The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications seeks a Director of Distance Education/Training. Reporting to the Executive Director of Distance Education, the Director of Distance Education/Training directs long-range strategic planning, operations, and administrative activities for the instructional design team of UF CJC Online. The primary duty is to manage instructional design professionals and OPS support staff who design and develop graduate-level and professional development courses. The Director will work with the instructional design team, subject matter experts (SMEs), and instructors to ensure courses demonstrate Adult Learning Principles, Best Practices in Online Education, and Learner Engagement that meets/exceeds Quality Matters standards. $98,000 - $102,000 |
Minimum Requirements: |
Master's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and eight years of relevant experience. |
