Job Description:

Supervise all parking enforcement:
- Enforce parking rules and regulations.
- Direct daily work assignments for enforcement staff.
- Oversee hiring, training, and performance of staff.
- Ensure the functionality of the parking management system’s enforcement processes.
- Assess rules and regulations, review citations, and communicate policy or quality control changes to staff.

Manage the operation of pay-by-plate garages:
- Oversee daily activities of garage attendants.
- Coordinate with the Office of Admissions for campus tours.
- Ensure the working order of all Luke II Pay stations.
- Supervise the collection of pay station and metered space monies.

Maintain positive public relations and act as liaison for Transportation and Parking Services:
- Present a customer-centric image of the department.
- Respond to customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Foster a customer service-focused philosophy among enforcement staff.

Coordinate University event projects and work assignments with UFPD:
- Assign patrollers to UFPD for university events.
- Ensure traffic control and safety training compliance.
- Deploy parking enforcement officers as needed in support of UFPD.
- Create weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage of operations and any special events.

Assume responsibility for departmental duties during home football games:
- Attend pre-game safety briefings.
- Coordinate with the transportation supervisor on the RV program.
- Ensure all positions are staffed for game days.
- Supervise game day staff and authorize citations and tows as necessary.

Attend scheduled meetings:
- Identify objectives and facilitate the mission of Transportation and Parking Services.
- Participate in formulating strategies, policies, and processes for the department.

Ensure availability for emergency response:
- Be available by phone after regular working hours and ready to deploy staff as required.

Normal work schedule is Monday – Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm. Flexibility to adjust work schedule is required to include after hours and weekends for coordination and supervision of transportation for football game days and special events as directed.

Drives a state vehicle that requires a valid driver license.

A criminal background will be conducted.

Expected Salary:

Expected starting salary is $52,500 - $59,000 based on experience and qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in parking enforcement or related fields.
