Student Assistant - Multimedia

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with

• Video production shoots on location.
• Developing concepts for video projects.
• Drafting production plans, shots lists, and scripts as needed.
• Photography for marketing and communications efforts.
• Organizing digital assets and archiving them appropriately for future use.
• Tagging metadata on digital assets for distribution.
• Editing photo and video projects to completion.
• Managing production equipment.
• Other photo/video projects as assigned.

$13 - $14 /hour

• Must be enrolled as a University of Florida student with good academic and conduct standing.
• Able to work 15-20 hours per week with a schedule that allows work to be completed during business hours (M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) preferably in at least 2-hour blocks.
• This position will be primarily in our offices but may include some remote or on-location work.

• Proficient in non-linear editing software (Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
• Basic camera operating skills for both photography/videography
• Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally
