The Student Health Care Center (SHCC) at the University of Florida in the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine (CHFM) seeks a full-time dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our team. In this role, you will deliver patient care in line with RN License standards across various Primary Care teams and SHCC Psychiatry. Your responsibilities will include performing treatments and procedures, administering medications, screening and counseling patients, and collecting and documenting vital signs, visual acuity, and point-of-care testing as directed by providers. Additionally, you will provide independent care to patients following practice protocols and standing orders. You will also support providers by coordinating clinical activities, interfacing with SHCC providers and CWC counselors, and facilitating entry into care for students seeking counseling and psychiatric services. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 hours/week. Hours and days can vary according to the SHCC’s needs - Provides weekend coverage as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: |
Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program. Licensed as a registered nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes. Current CPR certification |
