Job Description:

The University of Florida is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Assistant University Registrar for Academic Pathways. In this role, you will manage academic processes related to curriculum implementation, degree audit, university catalog, and alternative credentials. Under the direction of the Associate University Registrar, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure compliance with academic regulations and facilitate student success.

Responsibilities include:

Academic Process Management

  • Lead the university's degree audit process, maintaining precise audits to ensure compliance with undergraduate curriculum standards.
  • Collaborate with academic advisors to ensure data accuracy and support various processes, including excess hours surcharge and degree certification.
  • Manage curriculum implementation, coordinating with academic departments and colleges to ensure accurate and timely changes aligned with university policies.
  • Assist in managing and synchronizing the university's undergraduate, graduate, and professional catalogs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Work closely with the University Catalog editor to maintain catalog accuracy and alignment with accreditation standards.

Leadership

  • Supervise the staff responsible for maintaining degree audit software, university catalogs, and alternative credential platforms; establish work priorities, assignments, schedules, and deadlines for the area.
  • Participate in office-wide strategic planning, resource allocation, and goal setting.
  • Assist the Associate University Registrar with providing leadership and direction for conceptualizing, modifying, and maintaining academic pathways, systems, and processes.

Other Duties

  • Represent the university at local, state, and national meetings, forums, and professional association functions.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Expected Salary:

$65,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience demonstrating a strong foundation in Registrar-related functions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing student record systems and conducting comprehensive data analysis to inform decision-making and enhance student outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in maintaining meticulous documentation and organizational systems to streamline degree audit procedures and effectively support broader student success initiatives.
  • Proven track record in utilizing curriculum management and degree audit software to optimize academic program efficiency and accuracy.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and coordination with diverse stakeholders.
