Job Description:

Position Function:

The Bulldog Club is the fundraising organization supporting Mississippi State Athletics. This fellowship is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of collegiate athletic fundraising, including strategic fundraising techniques, donor stewardship, customer service, game day operations, event coordination, and Paciolan software management. The individual must be highly organized and driven with exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Salary Grade: 09

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily operations of the Bulldog Club office including phone operations, Paciolan account management, email correspondence, and customer service.
• Assist in managing capital campaign materials including presentations, naming inventory, and data entry.
• Assist in gameday operations including Leo Seal, Jr. M-Club Room admission.
• Assist with coordination of annual donor recognition events.
• Act as an ambassador for the Bulldog Club and its membership at public events
• Prepare materials for weekly staff meetings.
• Manage membership materials including new membership packets, weekly receipts, and prospect lists.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other appropriate discipline with one (1) year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate with various constituents; general public; administrators.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong work ethic & attention to detail
• Outstanding interpersonal and interactive skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse community.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, time management and critical thinking skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Frequent externally imposed deadlines; set and revised beyond one's control; interruptions influence priorities; difficult to anticipate nature or volume of work with certainty beyond a few days; meeting of deadlines and coordination of unrelated activities are key to position; involves conflict-resolution or similar interactions involving emotional issues or stress on a regular basis.
• Job occasionally requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands.
• Job occasionally requires standing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, and
lifting up to 50 pounds
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
