JOB DESCRIPTION: |
NORC at the University of Chicago is seeking a Regular, Full Time Research Associate I to support the Health Sciences Research Department in our Chicago office. The Research Associate would work on a variety of challenging, interesting, innovative multi-year data collection and analysis projects, with a focus on survey data collection projects. This position is responsible for supporting small and large-scale survey data collections, technical assistance, and evaluation projects for a variety of clients. The role requires interest and/or experience in operational methods, including project design, data collection procedures, project management, and data management and processing. Strong problem solving and people skills are required. Applicants will be based in our Chicago, IL office with a hybrid office/work from home schedule. |

DEPARTMENT: Health Sciences |
The Health Sciences team is versatile and experienced in data acquisition, management, technical assistance, and analysis; the use of information technology in health care; and numerous data collection methods. Our track record of leadership and innovation includes the design and management of large-scale surveys, including extensive experience collecting bio measures. NORC’s Health Sciences staff work closely with colleagues in Health Care and Public Health to offer program, policy, and research solutions. Our work is guided by a commitment to long-lasting partnerships, transparency, and high-quality, nonpartisan research that improves health and health care for all people. |

SALARY AND BENEFITS: |
The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $62,000. This position is classified as regular. Regular staff are eligible for NORC’s comprehensive benefits program. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
