Job Description:

The Department of Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics seeks a qualified Front Door Project Manager for the OneFlorida+ Clinical Research Network. This role involves overseeing the front door, communications, and marketing, as well as providing administrative support for high-priority studies as directed by the OneFlorida+ PIs and Director. The manager will also support research infrastructure and interact with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities include initiating, executing, and implementing priority projects related to data management and research infrastructure, collaborating with stakeholders across the UF research enterprise. The manager will identify opportunities to enhance administrative processes and operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key duties include pre and post-award management activities such as preparing grant proposals, facilitating procurement processes, fiscal and budgetary reporting, invoicing, financial reconciliation, and reporting of cost centers. The manager will also coordinate executive meetings, track project activities, and serve as a primary point of contact for team communication.

Strong communication skills are essential, as the manager will interface with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support consortium objectives. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations, the manager will provide regular updates and insights, ensuring alignment with the network's strategic vision.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in research administration and project management, with expertise in large-scale research collaborations. They must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, written and oral communication, and decision-making. Commitment to working with diverse populations is essential.

Expected Salary:

$70,000 to $85,000

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• At least four years experience leading technical, health-related, or informatics research projects
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• Experience leading project teams using Agile/Scrum methodology and using project management tools and software, Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) preferred.
• Experience overseeing budgeting, billing, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure financial health. Monitor key financial metrics and implement strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly with regard to project requirements and documentation
• Excellent written (in English) and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate with faculty, staff, and healthcare professionals at multiple levels
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to receive and maintain confidential or sensitive information and handle protected health information.
• Demonstrate strong skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) Adobe, and web navigation tools and programs
• Working knowledge of informatics and/or health-related research
• Ability to streamline and optimize business processes and operations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
