Job Description: |
The University of Florida (UF) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Benefit Specialist II. This role will primarily focus on coordinating and processing enrollment activities for various groups of employees, including academic faculty members, clinical faculty members, TEAMS, USPS, temporary, and OPS employees. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide assistance with benefits, retirement, and leaves of absence, ensuring that UF employees receive the support and information they need regarding their benefits programs. Examples include:
This individual will be responsible for staying abreast of all processes, policy, regulatory, compliance, related to Benefits and Retirement. Interpreting and communicating all updates/changes to campus partners and collaborating with campus partners as applicable. Implementing changes to internal processes includes participating in business process reviews and providing recommendations for improvements for efficiency or to better support campus partners. |
Expected Salary: |
$50,000 |
Minimum Requirements: |
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Knowledge of PeopleSoft, People First/Convergys, GatorJobs, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. |
