Job Description: |
These positions are located in the College of Public Health and Health Professions and will report directly to the Academic Advisor III. These positions will be responsible for providing academic advising and related services in a variety of settings and formats to prospective and current students of the College. Provide academic advising services to current and prospective students including, but not limited to, prerequisite course requirements and general education curriculum requirements through the use of the Student Academic Support System (SASS) and Universal Tracking (UT), college admission procedures and requirements, career planning, pre-professional major information, progression standards, performance and admission status, and student resources. |
Expected Salary: |
$48,000 - $49,500; commensurate with education and experience. |
Minimum Requirements: |
Master’s degree in education, counseling, or academic field related to the college OR Bachelor’s degree in similar fields with one year of relevant experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment essential. Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills with a variety of people, organizational skills, and ability to track detailed information over time essential. |
