Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This a temporary or on-call position. Provides clerical support. Responsibilities may include secretarial, receptionist, bookkeeping, information processing or related clerical tasks. Temps On-Campus: includes College of Human Medicine, the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Detroit Medical Center, and the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Macomb University CenterTerm. On campus temps can work six (6) months then terminate for three (3) months or switch to an oncall. Off campus temps can continuously work nine(9) month appointment with a one (1) week break in between. On-Call allowed to work up to 40 hours/week for three (3) months then must be moved down to 19 hours/week and cannot work more than 520 hours in any six (6) month period.
Unit Position Summary
The ideal candidate will provide support to technical and professional staff by preparing specimens for diagnostic analysis; this job includes but is not limited to: triage of specimens in the receiving-order entry unit to ensure accurate data entry, log-in, and storage of specimen to the lab and the preparation of animal tissue, feed, and blood samples for analysis; this job requires excellent verbal communication skills to address client questions and computer fluency to use the lab LIMS system to track specimen in the lab. The position has responsibility for the safety and health of others and therefore involves strict attention to detail and protocol, exposure to materials and chemicals, and close teamwork with others in the laboratory. Duties of this position include: processing/testing specimens from animals and the environment to detect the presenceof inorganic and organic chemicals; preparation of media/reagents for use by several laboratory sections. Duties associated with this position involve walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing and working with unfixed animal tissues. Work hours are between7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday through Friday; schedule may deviate from standard hours and will include weekend and holiday rotation.

Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. Unit Position Summary
The Mentors/Academic Tutor are directly responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all program participants, as well as, developing and implementing evening and social recreational activities for EGRIE summer program participants.
Additional duties, will assist participant with course content, evening recitation and weekend scheduled tutoring for program participants.

Position Summary
This position will be working with existing research staff and graduate students to research, develop, implement, and test novel microwave antenna designs for applied electromagnetics applications.
Primary responsibilities in this role include
Lead development and implementation of microwave antennas with composite material and in PCB technology
Perform fabrication and measurements of antennas and microwave devices
Additional responsibilities include
Collaborating with group members (graduate students, postdocs and faculty members) on antenna designs
