Job Description:
The Marketing and Communications Specialist will serve the University of Florida’s College of Pharmacy and support the marketing and digital communications efforts to drive strategic enrollment growth. The College of Pharmacy has educational, research and clinical/service missions and is an integral part of the UF Health academic health center and the UF campus.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of marketing and digital strategies and effectively support the development, implementation and execution of marketing plans to meet intended goals. Specific experience in marketing for online graduate programs in higher education, especially in healthcare, is highly desirable.
The Marketing Specialist will be expected to work extensively with the college’s residential and online graduate education programs, as well as the continuing pharmacy education program, to grow student recruitment and registration efforts. They will play a primary role in customer relationship management (CRM) technology management and executing targeted marketing campaigns using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. They will play a supporting role in digital advertising campaigns, project management and website content development.
As a member of the College of Pharmacy Enrollment Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing to support the college's marketing needs.Primary Duties Include: CRM Administration• Manage, maintain and optimize the college’s enrollment CRM to support recruitment initiatives for residential, online graduate and continuing pharmacy education programs.• Build and refine audience segments, manage lead lists and ensure data accuracy to support targeted marketing and communication strategies.• Provide regular CRM data summaries, dashboards and lead updates to program directors and stakeholders to inform recruitment decisions.• Develop, launch and optimize automated multichannel marketing campaigns (e.g., email, social media and other digital outreach) to strengthen engagement and move prospects through the enrollment funnel.• Map, analyze and enhance the prospective student journey across all digital touchpoints from first inquiry through enrollment to improve user experience and increase inquiry‑to‑application conversion.• Assess lead outcomes to help determine the most efficient and impactful recruitment activities (e.g., application results of webinar attendees, RSVPs to matriculation).Marketing Data Analysis • Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., conversion rates, engagement trends, funnel progression) and use insights to recommend strategy adjustments to program directors.• Support the implementation of program marketing plans by contributing tactics that align with recruitment goals for residential, online graduate and continuing pharmacy education programs.Digital Marketing • Assist with planning, execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns, including search advertising, pay‑per‑click initiatives, social media advertising and digital media placements.• Support the creation, editing and distribution of marketing emails tailored to leads, applicants and enrolled students.• Track and report campaign performance, analyze outcomes and assess ROI to inform future digital marketing strategies.Research, Strategy and Planning• Identify audience needs, market trends and emerging opportunities in the residential, online graduate and continuing pharmacy education space.• Recommend integrated marketing strategies that bridge web, mobile, social and digital channels to drive lead generation and improve enrollment performance.• Collaborate with internal teams (communications, admissions, distance education support services) to ensure marketing strategies align with institutional objectives and program‑specific enrollment targets.Other Assigned Tasks • Attend UF College of Pharmacy, UF main campus and UF Health communications meetings.• Complete required training.• Perform other duties, as required.
Expected Salary:
$51,425 - $63,000

Required Qualifications:

Job Description:
Customer Service: Provides exceptional customer service using the ticketing system (Salesforce) and resolves inquiries for travelers, department users, and other customers. Identified issues and research appropriate solutions in compliance with UF, federal and state policies. Resolves increasingly complex travel questions and discrepancies with minimal supervision, using experience and judgement to escalate issues to management when needed.
Technical and Operations: Performs transaction reviews and ensures audit rules and reports are appropriately identifying issues of non-compliance. Resolves exceptions in travel audits and employee reimbursement issues. Works closely with the PCard team to resolve issues with expense report auditing. Provides travel and expense system and policy training to all levels of users and updates related content as needed or as directed by supervisor.
Continuous improvement: Monitors the overall travel program and makes recommendations for improvements to training and University communications. Evaluates the day to day operations, provides feedback to management on current business processes and recommends actions to streamline processes or improve operational efficiencies.
Special projects: Performs a variety of special projects as assigned or as needed.

The Student Counseling Spec II (Working Title: Clinical Case Manager) at the University of Florida Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) and Student Health Care Center (SHCC) serves as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, delivering brief, population-focused, primary care–oriented behavioral health services with an emphasis on clinical case management across the full continuum of student need. Primary responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and clinical assessments, determining level of care, developing treatment plans and setting goals, coordinating and facilitating referrals, connecting students to appropriate on- and off-campus resources, collaborating with internal and external providers, offering crisis consultation, and supporting continuity of care. The clinician substantiates services through timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Counseling & Wellness Center (CWC), Student Health Care Center (SHCC), and University of Florida policies and procedures, ensuring coordinated, high-quality care across campus and within the community.
Assisting students with social services:• Conduct needs assessments and provide case management for students with complex psychosocial and mental health needs.
• Provide follow-up and support for students transitioning from higher levels of care (e.g., hospitalization, intensive outpatient).
• Assist students with access to insurance resources, financial assistance, transportation, housing, and other basic needs.
• Stay informed about emerging best practices and legal regulations related to college mental health and clinical case management.
Provide daytime and on-call crisis services:• Respond to crisis situations and participate in risk assessment and safety planning as needed.

• Maintain an updated referral network of community mental health providers, medical providers, hospitals, and support services.
• Provide crisis consultation and case coordination support to primary care and psychiatric providers regarding high-risk students, including facilitating safety planning, hospitalization referrals, and aftercare arrangements.
• Participate in case consultation meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Completing records punctually to record keeping/reporting writing procedures:• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
Expected Salary:
$72,000 - $77,000 based on experience
Required Qualifications:
Must be licensable as a mental health counselor in the State of Florida. Must have a master's degree in mental health counseling, guidance, psychology, or rehabilitation counseling at a college or university accredited by an accrediting agency approved by the United States Department of Education.LMHC – Active Florida licensure required upon hire.
