Job Description:
The University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences invites applications from qualified individuals for one full-time multi-track faculty position in Medical Oncology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position is focused on teaching and clinical service but also provides opportunities to participate in clinical and bench-top research. Teaching responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction in the professional curriculum and the supervision of medical oncology residents and interns. Participation in the clinical service in the UF Veterinary Hospital includes receiving and management of oncology cases, consultations with within the hospital and with practicing veterinarians, participating in the growth of this service and continuing education.
The successful candidate will join a team of two other medical oncologists all of whom, are Diplomates of the ACVIM (Medical Oncology), two board certified radiation therapists (Diplomate of the ACVR), and three surgical oncologists, ACVS Fellow of Surgical Oncology, in a beautiful 100,000 square foot Small Animal Hospital (for a virtual tour see web link at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aubwddx28f0&feature=player_embedded#at=79)
Features of the hospital include a 1.5T MRI, helical CT, gamma camera, ten spacious O.Rs, C-arm fluoroscopy, portable radiography, state of the art laparoscopy/arthroscopy, interventional radiology suite, electrochemotherapy and a linear accelerator with cone beam CT, a multi-leaf collimator and stereotactic radiotherapy. Development of an independent or collaborative research program in an area of special interest is encouraged. Extensive opportunities for collaborative research exists within the College and with the UF College of Medicine, Shands Cancer Center (Cancer Center " UF Health Cancer Center " University of Florida) (www.cancer.gov/research/infrastructure/cancer-centers/...) and McKnight Brain Institute (including Comparative Stereotactic Radiosurgery Program). The oncology service also offers a robust clinical trials service and is a member of the Comparative Oncology Trials Consortium (COTC). The successful candidate will have access to a well-equipped comparative oncology research lab and be eligible to compete for competitive intramural and endowed research funds.

The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville (UF COM-J), is seeking an up to full-time Vascular surgeon at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center boasts a team of board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons and vascular surgeons who work side by side to care for patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions at UF Health Jacksonville - a tertiary care teaching hospital and a regional referral center for specialty care. The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center are extremely active clinically, academically and educationally. Pioneering innovative approaches to the management of vascular trauma, we are poised for significant growth in vascular care as we expand the elective surgical practice throughout the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia region. We are seeking a candidate with broad clinical experience in vascular surgery with a particular interest in endovascular therapies. The candidate must be MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible in Vascular Surgery with experience in all aspects of the evaluation and treatment of aortic diseases, lower extremity occlusive disease, complex hemodialysis access, and the full spectrum of venous diseases. Major responsibilities include patient care, teaching, and research.
This position will academically report to the Chairman of the Department of Surgery and operationally to the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Center at the –UF COM-J. Every faculty member in the department will have a mentoring team assigned to them and participate in the department wide faculty development program.
The following is a general description of duties and responsibilities:
Provide and maintain a high level of quality in-patient intermediate care services in all aspects of Vascular Surgery
Provide clinical teaching of trainees in Vascular Surgery and participate in the educational program.
Be responsible for excellent communication with primary care physicians.
Assist in marketing the Vascular Surgery Programs to community physicians and managed care organizations.
Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.

Job Description:
Functions as a Therapist for the professional, multidisciplinary Child Protection Team and Sexual Abuse Treatment Program, organized to provide and coordinate services for victims of child abuse and neglect. Assesses need and provides therapy to children and families verified as victims of abuse following CPT assessment. The position requires knowledge in the areas of child abuse and neglect and family dynamics, skillsin the areas of assessing/case management, crisis intervention, trauma-based therapy, experience with the judicial system as advocate and expert witness, available community resources and making appropriate referrals. This position services the Jacksonville area program and includes Baker, Clay, Duval, and Nassau counties. This position requires travel to other counties.
Provides direct therapy and counseling services to child victims, siblings of victims, and non-offending caregivers. Provides crisis intervention to families.
Coordinates intakes, evaluations, & interviews with children, family members to obtain psychosocial information for clinical evaluations. Develops and maintains relationships with staff and other agencies to provide coordination with needed services
and support through advocacy, referral, and follow-up.
Develops behaviorally specific treatment plans for all family members involved in the program. Completes safety planning to prevent continued or future abuse.
Attends case staffing and coordinates client services and community referrals.Maintains client records, including documentation and tracking of treatment goals and objectives consistent with program requirements. Conducts training for the community as assigned.
Provides depositions and court testimony as required.
Expected Salary:
$60,000 to $70,000 annually depending on education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Professionals with one of the following credentials are qualified to provide psychosocial
counseling:
Social worker with a master’s degree or a Ph.D. in social work from a Certified Social Work Education-accredited school of social work.
Registered nurse with advanced specialized counseling education and training as a clinical nurse specialist or certified psychiatric nurse.
Professional licensed to provide clinical, counseling, and psychotherapy services by the Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling.
Psychologist with a master’s or Ph.D. in psychology.
Master’s or doctoral level graduate student intern from an accredited school of social work or a psychology or counseling program, under the supervision of a licensed practitioner qualified to supervise such interns.
Psychosocial counseling professionals working with the Healthy Start population should have counseling education, training, and experience in women’s issues, maternal and child health issues, and grief and loss issues. This includes experience in child development, family dynamics, family violence and substance abuse intervention, medical or health promotion orientation, mental health, and a prevention theory approach to intervention. Services can be provided by a designated clinic employee, a contracted counseling provider, or referral to a professional counseling agency/individual in the community.
Preferred Qualifications:
Social Worker eligible for Florida licensure
Experience in Trauma focused care and planning.
Use of standardized assessment tools in determining a client’s current presenting
problem(s)
One year of clinical counseling experience, six months of which must be in providing
treatment to sexually abused children and their families

Job Description:
The Clinical Research Office (CRO) in the Office of Research Affairs (ORA), Dean’s Administration, College of Medicine–Jacksonville, is seeking a Clinical Research Analyst II to work as a CTMS Specialist, to support clinical trial operations and protocol management within the University of Florida’s Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS). This position assists with the development, review, and maintenance of clinical research protocols and related documentation to ensure compliance with institutional policies, sponsor requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. The analyst will support the implementation and management of research workflows within the CTMS while providing quality review and operational support for research projects conducted across the College of Medicine–Jacksonville.This role works collaboratively with investigators, research coordinators, administrators, and institutional stakeholders to facilitate accurate protocol setup, billing compliance reviews, and research calendar and budget development. The Clinical Research Analyst II provides technical support and guidance to study teams regarding the use of the CTMS and institutional processes, assists with coverage analysis activities, and supports workflow management to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks. The position contributes to maintaining data integrity, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance for the clinical research portfolio within the CRO.
Independently build AHC and ONC clinical trial calendars and budgets within the OnCore Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) in accordance with institutional guidelines and procedures. Develop and maintain calendars and budgets for new studies, amendments, and updates. Ensure accurate designation of sponsor-paid versus standard-of-care activities. Coordinate with study teams to obtain required information for calendar and budget development.
Manage vendor-built calendars and budgets by performing quality checks and validating accuracy. Implement institutional standard operating procedures (SOPs) during review and approval processes. Identify and communicate budget-related discrepancies to study teams for review and resolution. Monitor workflow timelines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Conduct end-user training for study staff on calendar, budget, and subject management within OnCore CTMS. Provide guidance to investigators and research teams on institutional processes and system use. Develop training materials and assist with onboarding of new users. Serve as an advanced resource for complex questions related to CTMS workflows.
Troubleshoot calendar, budget, and subject management issues within the OnCore CTMS. Assist with testing system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality. Document issues and coordinate with CTMS support teams and vendors to resolve defects. Validate system changes to ensure proper operation.
Work with support staff to test and validate calendar workflows within Epic. Collaborate with research, fiscal, and compliance teams to ensure workflow alignment. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Provide recommendations for workflow enhancements and system optimization.
Expected Salary:
$64,000 - $74, 000 depending on Education and Experience
