Job Description:

This entry-level developer position will work under the direction of the teams IT Manager and in conjunction with the Lead Developer to support various large-scale applications including, but not limited to-- Master Data Management/Identity Registry application and it’s web-based UI, web services via IBM Integration Broker, testing via Postman, and others. The ideal candidate should be eager to understand and support new, large, and complex systems.

Benefits

Full-time TEAMS employees will accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at a rate of 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year.

Vacation accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days/32 hours per year, assuming full-time status, and are intended to give the flexibility to enable units to close from December 26 to 31 when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis.

Expected Salary:

$52,500 – $60,000; commensurate based on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Associates degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands on experience in developing Java applications using technologies such as JSP, Webservices, etc.
  • Hands on experience in writing SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Exposure to testing webservices using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, etc.
  • Exposure to data analysis and profiling, good knowledge of UNIX scripting a plus.
  • Functional understanding of Master Data Management (MDM), ETL, and Data warehousing
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) and REST APIs a plus.
